Megan L. (House) Horst is a freelance writer, teacher, and graphic designer. Ballet holds a special place in her heart as she danced for over 20 years and taught ballet for nearly 15. She hopes Bailey Ballerina will grow into a series that young ballerinas will enjoy and learn from.
Yvonne C. House has been an artist for many years. Although she only recently began illustrating, she has dabbled in a variety of mediums throughout her life—her favorite being watercolors. House has seven grandkids and eight great-grandchildren.
Fun fact: the illustrator is the author’s grandma! Below they are autographing copies of
